Youth
Griffith UMC offers both Sunday School and Youth Group for our youth, grades 6-12.
Our Youth are part of the Night in Bethlehem, telling the story of Jesus' birth in a whole new way. December 17, 4-7 pm.
Youth with "regroup" in January so check back for more news.

Children

New this fall: Children's Choir. For ages 3 years and up, Children's Choir will be meet on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 pm-4:45 pm. The children will sing periodically in worship. Their first time in worship will be in November.
For children from birth through 6th Grade, Griffith offers Sunday School, childcare during worship, and Stepping Stones for our older children. Griffith UMC also offers Sunday School for autistic and special needs children.

Boy Scouts

Griffith UMC sponsors Boy Scout Troop 69. This troop meets regularly at the church. Troop 69 recently went camping at the Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Vally in northern San Diego County. Upcoming events include the monthly committee meeting on the first Tuesday of the month, a Court of Honor and the annual planning for the upcoming year. UMM meets every month on the second Saturday for a potluck breakfast. The next scheduled speaker is Taban Duku in August, speaking about the formation of South Sudan and what we can do to help and support this new country.
